How to become Faster

Everybody wants to be a fast basketball player nowadays for several reasons (breaking ankles, getting past your man, etc.). This is one of my favorite workouts to do when I'm alone outside at the park.

First, go to your local park and jog around the Basketball Court 30 times then sprint up and down the Court 20 times non-stop. Then run up and down the court 10 times with the ball. Reapeat that everytime you workout and you will eventually become faster with and without the ball and will also gain stamina, which is very important!

First Basketball Camp

My first experience of a Basketball Camp was during the summer of 2011. (Of course I was beasting it and what not), but anyways FCA Sports Camp was very awesome!! There were lot's of people there (about 400 I believe) and not all of them were Basketball players, but the ones that were basketball players weren't very good. About 20% of them were an exception though. Although, I didn't just go there for basketball, but I went there to get closer to God, and if you were wondering what FCA means it means Fellowship of Christian Athletes. My goal there sure did work so I'm happy of that.

Anyways, I met a couple of college basketball players and I believe they play in NAIA (mostly Christian colleges). The coaches there were very helpful they tought me some ballhandling drills that I will surely share with you guys, but you might all know them. Just keep coming back to this blog and I will have at least one of them up this week.

I'm Back

Yeah that's right Miguel Mendivil is back, and I will be talking more and more about Basketball. This includes very new players that I have met ever since I made my "Last Entry", and I will also be talking about Basketball books that I would recommend for you guys to read. I will also post exercises that I have learned to really help you out with everything in Basketball, whether it's speed, agility, ball handling, etc. If you have any questions about anything involving me and/or Basketball please feel free to ask by just commenting on posts. Thank you and I hope you will use my drills and exercises.
